First thoughts

I find myself with this need to write down my thoughts, and so to keep from losing all my friends (real and social media types) I thought it might be a good idea to do something that people could take a look at only when they want to, and as often as they want to. I realize for 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999% of people in the world this means never, and that’s OK too,

Much of this impetus arises from our crazy political climate, but also from the ups and downs of taking care of an elderly parent. I also plan to use it as a kind of travelogue, when I am lucky enough to see some of the world.
